Pool to Re-open June 12th

The plan is to have the pool reopened for swimming on June 12th.
The original target of Memorial Day was delayed due to weather issues and the availability of materials. A Memorial Day weekend opening was an aggressive target date, but we tried.

This work is largely a repair effort, not a remodeling project. The tile, coping, and decking will be fully repaired, but will remain the same color and style. The Increte Spray Deck will be repaired. The landscaping will also be repaired.

There will be a few additions including a return of the bar that was in place years ago, the return of a grill, and new signage. The grill will be a commercial grade natural gas grill that will not require BBQ coals or propane tanks.

  1. The coping and tile work, as well as the expansion joints for the pool decking are being done by the LBT bricklayer (i.e. Alfonso Ibarra).
  2. The pool crack repair and re-plastering will be performed by PoolPros (more information).
  3. The landscape and irrigation repairs will be completed by Steven's Landscape (the LBT landscaper) and Waterboy (or irrigation contractor). Felipe and Marc and repair and re-plastering will be constructed by PoolPros (more information).

An insurance claim was filed on February 19th with Princeton Excess and Surplus Lines Insurance Company (New Jersey) for the damages.
